The objective of this presentation was to investigate this interdisciplinarity of Reasoning in Cognitive Science through quantitative citation analysis of the reasoning-and-cognition related articles contained in the Web of Science database.

This research, while contributing to a better understanding of the evolution of the cognitive research on reasoning, will also pave the way for a larger, full-scale citation analysis of the whole field of Cognitive Sciences.
